Painting with Light: Darren Pearson.
A little something playful for this Monday morning, a light painting by Darren Pearson. A native to San Diego, Darren is working on a series dubbed California Soul, an ode to coastal culture.
His ability to define such detail in his work is quite remarkable (Take a peek over at PetaPixel). It must be incredibly entertaining to reveal what you've created in the long exposures.

Painting with Light (Part II): Picasso.
Revisiting an old favorite. I love these light drawings by Picasso, don't you? I'd love to know who was behind the camera, and what exchanges they had with him...

I'm Not There: PoL Úbeda Hervàs.
An ongoing series of portraits by photographer PoL Úbeda Hervàs who lives and works in Barcelona. He reports that the series came from changes in his life that left him unsure of who he is, but he decided to leave the shoes as a reminder that what was left was more than just a shadow.

Catching Fireflies: Yume Cyan.
Long exposure photographs of fireflies in a forested area around Nagoya City, Japan by Yume Cyan. The bioluminescent flash of each insect results in the dotted light trails!
