Scenes From the Weekend: Hallowine.

Happy Halloween!! Or as was the case this weekend, Hallowine!  I enjoyed the most delightful weekend with friends up in Healdsburg, at Thomas George Estates, complete with pumpkin carving, bocce, bbq, playing with the most adorable baby alive, an oh so memorable costume (and dance) party and ohhhhh so much vino. 

Trick or Treat.

What are you doing to celebrate this Halloween friends? I'm heading up to wine country to drink up the fall colors and spoils of the land from seasons passed... And write essays! Guess which part is the trick and which part the treat.

Today's study marathon was capped off with a warm bowl of slow cooked pozole... Mmm

It's officially coffee shop week, as I'm sure you had gathered (snooooze, I know, I know). I'm a liiiiittle wired at the moment, and enjoying this birds eye view of Jane before my shift at the clinic, and the Mason Jennings concert at the Fillmore tonight!

Did anyone check out Harvard prof David Edwards new caffeine inhaler that made the news today? Uh, yes, I'm serious - Aeroshot Pure Energy - and I thought red bull was bad.

A post?!  Shocking, I know.  Hello friends!!!

I have gone underground this month, but I promise to return soon. A plethora of delightful themes, designs and innovations await... My files are bursting with promise!!

At the moment, I am studying, taking long walks to enjoy the fall.... and cooking. A lot. When I want to avoid the books (which is often).

 

Required Reading.

The latest to be crossed off my reading list: The Help and The Snowman. I am now finally undertaking Shantaram, which has been on my list for years by way of oh so many recommendations. Thus far, I'm loving it! Such an incredibly written narrative.
